Collection: Aquarium Water Conditioners

Aquarium water conditioners make tap water safe for fish by removing chlorine and, in many products, chloramine. Choose a dechlorinator for water changes, a conditioner made for your type of fish, or a bacteria starter for a new tank. Free shipping above Rs. 599.

Which water conditioner do you need?

  • Every water change: a dechlorinator such as Sunken Garden Anti Chlorine, Misha Anti Chlorine or 2Hr Aquarist APT Dechlorinator.
  • Specific fish: Sunken Garden water conditioners for Cichlids, Flowerhorns, Koi and Tropical fish.
  • Moving or adding fish: Misha Safe Pack, a stress-relief and transport conditioner.
  • Cloudy or green water: Misha Ammo Clear (clarifier and phosphate remover) and Sunken Garden Clear Blue.
  • Setting up a new tank: Life Aayuh Bacter Boost Plus (liquid beneficial bacteria) or Sunken Garden Bacter Tab (bacteria capsules).
  • Koi ponds: Sunken Garden Koi Water Conditioner and the Koi Care Combo.

Why condition tap water?

Tap water is often treated with chlorine or chloramine, which can stress fish and harm the bacteria in your filter. Add a conditioner whenever you fill a tank or change water, before the fish go in. Follow the dose on the bottle for your tank size.

Heading: Water conditioner questions

Do I need a conditioner for every water change? Yes, if your tap water contains chlorine or chloramine. Check each product page to see what it removes.

Can I use these in a shrimp or planted tank? Check the product page first. Bacter Boost Plus, for example, is described as shrimp-safe and plant-friendly.

Which conditioner is best for cloudy water? Cloudy water has several causes. A clarifier such as Ammo Clear or Clear Blue helps clear it, and a bacteria starter helps new tanks settle.

Can you recommend a product for my tank? Yes. Send us your fish type and tank size.
