Which Maya product do you need?

  • Fix plants, moss, rocks or driftwood: Maya Fast Action Gel, an aquarium-safe aquascaping gel adhesive.
  • Strong bonding glue: Maya Instant Hardscape Glue, a fast-bonding adhesive for rocks, driftwood and aquatic plants, listed for freshwater and marine tanks.
  • Finish or reinforce hardscape: Maya Instant Sticking Powder, a bonding powder for rocks and driftwood, and Maya Instant Sticking Cotton, a bonding reinforcement for rocks, driftwood and moss.
  • Everything together: The Scape Right Series Aquarium Art Glue Set.
  • Clean the glass: Maya Algae Cleaning Pads, dual-sided melamine pads, and Maya Double Dotted Algae Cleaning Pad, a melamine foam pad for algae, biofilm and water stains.

Tips for gluing in an aquarium

Dry the surface before you apply glue, press the plant or rock in place and hold it until it sets, then lower the water level and refill slowly. Read the curing instructions on the pack before you put the item back in the tank.

What do the sticking powder and cotton do? They are bonding aids that work with the glue on rocks, driftwood and moss. Check each product page for how to use them.

Are the algae pads safe for acrylic tanks? The Double Dotted pad is listed for glass and acrylic. Check the product page before you use any pad on acrylic.

Can I use these in a shrimp or planted tank? Check the label and product page first.
